A Mind Near Paranoia. |
Herro, my name is Mattie. I spend most of my time looking for rocks and marching in step. Say hello, I'm rather interesting if you just ask. Music is my passion. Marching Band at school. Mellophone is the absolute best and French Horn, of course, follows suit. I have been Drum Major for the past year and will be it again for my Senior year. But as for musicians, I'm obsessed with Jack's Mannequin and Maia Hirasawa. Sarah Kay, Anis Mojgani, and Robert Becker are my inspirations. Really, all I would like is to be that rock you can hold onto at the end of the day, something solid... make people happy. I'm trying. Really. I am. |
I laugh at things that really aren’t funny, frequently. Because to me, they are. Unbelievably hilarious. I have no idea why. I just think about everything differently. If someone has a big dramatic fight with a friend, I laugh because it was probably over something as trivial and stupid as a boy, a shirt, a ‘he said, she said.’ And quite frankly, it’s hilarious.
Sort of how I hate people. Not all people just most people. Their minds revolve around the most unimportant things. For young people, such as me. In high school still waiting for their lives to begin. When some one’s mind revolves around a boy or a girl and ‘love’ I just laugh. Because at our age, we have not lived, really lived, long enough to know what love is. I understand people enough to see their obsessions and needs, but I will never fully understand the medial infatuations for a, in the end, damaging instance such as this.
People just do the stupidest things and it makes me laugh. Argue about something that won’t change. Make horrible choices to be ‘cool.’ Oh people. Why do you have to be so perfectly hilarious?
